Leo Worsley

May 3, 1933 — September 20, 2013

Leo Lamont Worsley 1933-2013 Leo Lamont Worsley passed away September 20, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born to Leo Vernon and Emma Lavon Worsley on May 3, 1933. Dad married his high school sweetheart, Esther Stevenson, on May 22, 1952 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were dedicated to each other for over 61 years of marriage. Dad showed us all by his example, how to love, teach and show support. He was committed to loving and supporting his wife, four children, nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Dad loved his family (and would often be found talking about them to anyone who would listen), he also loved his BYU cougars, and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Dad will be remembered for coaching sports, gardening, exercising and studying the scriptures. The family would like to thank the Worsley’s loving neighbors and friends and the Centerville Parrish Canyon ward members who served him and his wife lovingly and endlessly. The family would also like to thank the caring staff of Lakeview Hospital. We can never repay the kindness and love you showed our Father. Dad was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Beverly; son, Robert and two grandchildren. He will be missed by his wife, Esther; and children Jerry (Sharon), Neal, and Sally (Daren) Bangerter; and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday September 25, 2013 at the LDS Chapel, 610 N Rowland Way, Centerville. The family will be pleased to greet friends and family at a viewing on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Wednesday morning 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Centerville City Cemetery. We invite you to share memories of Dad and condolences at www.russonmortuary.com
