Leola Fay Hatch

Bountiful, Utah – Leola Fay Boulton Hatch passed away peacefully April 7 2017 at the age of 87.
Leola was born August 5 1929 in Bountiful, Utah to Alfred W and Amy L Boulton. She was raised on the family farm in Bountiful, she attended Stoker Elementary School, South Davis Jr High and Davis High School graduating in 1947. She married her high school sweetheart
Richard (Dick) Hatch on July 16 1948, they had two children Craig and Paul.
Leola had two gigantic passions in life one was her art work and the other one was her flowers, flowers were always such an enjoyment for her and that enjoyment lasted an entire life time, her art however wasn't only a passion and an enjoyment for her it is also how she made a living.
She was an accomplished artist in many different mediums, her art work has made it to quite a few different countries around the world. She was a self taught water color artist and preferred doing water colors over the other mediums the last few years of her life. She won numerous first place ribbons and best of show awards for her art work over the years, most recently she was the featured artist of the BDAC 2016 Holiday Show.
Survived by – sons, Craig Hatch, Salt Lake City, Ut  Paul (Sharalyn) Hatch, West Bountiful, Ut Granddaughters – Sarah (Evan) Kippen, Morgan, Ut Jacqueline (C.J) Goodwin, West Bountiful, Ut Nicole Nokes West Bountiful, Ut Grandsons – Clay (Shannie) Nokes, Layton, Ut  Clint (Krista) Nokes, Ogden, Ut Great Granddaughter – EmRee Nokes, Layton, Ut Great Grandson – Wyatt Kippen, Morgan, Ut
A viewing from 12:00 to 1:00 pm will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary 295 North Main, Bountiful Utah, a graveside service will be conducted starting at 2:00 pm at the Milton Cemetery Morgan, Utah
