Leon George Morrow

Leon George Morrow, 84, passed away on September 17, 2019.  He was born on August 20, 1935 in Sandy Utah to George Robert Morrow & Mary Alta Beckstead.  Leon Married his sweetheart, Martha Rae Hill, on October 10, 1957.  Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 19, 1969.

Leon was in the army from 1956-1957.  He held many jobs throughout his lifetime to provide for his family.  He retired from the LDS Church as a grounds keeper at age 74, and continued to work many years.

Leon loved to fish and take his family on vacations.  His favorite place was Montana, to fish the Maddison River, Idaho, Wyoming & Georgia.  He liked to watch Westerns with his wife, but would watch anything she wanted just to make her happy.  He was beloved by everyone who met him.

Leon is survived by his children, Jerry (Carol) Morrow, Shellie (Brad) Leavitt, Michael Morrow, 9 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Martha, son Jeffery, his parents & sister Larraine Jenkins.

A viewing will be held on Monday September 23 at 12:45 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful.  A graveside service will follow at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful.
