Leonard B. Hogan

May 9, 1930 — June 29, 2018

Leonard Brock Hogan passed away on June 29, 2018.  He is survived by his wife, Willempje Hogan, his children Gerald Hogan, Susan Hoskins, (Christopher Hoskins), Eric Hogan, (Patricia Hogan) and Rodger Hogan, (Kimberly Hogan).   He had 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.   He also leaves behind a sister, Evon Hogan Freestone, (Max Freestone).  Family and friends in the Netherlands also mourn his loss.

Leonard was born in 1930 in Granger, Utah to Charles William Hogan and Margaret Brock Hogan.  He graduated from Cypress High School in Magna, Utah.  He served a 2 1/2 year mission to the Netherlands, after which he was drafted in the Army during the Korean Conflict.     He and Willempje were married in Holland in 1954, and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple the following year.   They raised their children in Hawaii and California.  He retired from the Federal Avaiation Agency as an electronic specialist, finishing his career at the San Francisco International Airport.  He and Willempje moved to Kaysville in 2015.  He was so happy to be back in his beloved Utah Valley.  He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A Viewing will be held at 9 W 550 S Kaysville on Thursday, July 5 from 9:45 – 10:45, followed by funeral services at 11. Interment- Kaysville City Cemetery
