Leslie (Les) Walter Dillingham, 86, returned home to his loving Heavenly Father, on Friday, September 30, 2011, at home, surrounded by his family. Les was born in Salt Lake City, August 12, 1925, to Leslie and Katherine. Les married his sweetheart, Bernice Austin, on June 21, 1952, in Wickenburg, Arizona. Les was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on March 18, 1967. Les, Bernice and their children became an eternal family on June 21, 1968, on their 15th wedding anniversary, in the St. George Temple. Les served a Stake Mission in Las Vegas, Nevada, and has held several other callings. His most recent service was as an ordinance worker in the Bountiful Temple. He is survived by wife, Bernice, son, Michael (Renee) their 5 children and 9 grandchildren, son, Marc (Peggy) their 12 children and 20 grandchildren, daughter, Kathy (Ken) their 5 children and 13 grandchildren and daughter, Lisa (Kevin) and their son. Les and Bernice enjoy their 23 grandchildren and 42 great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 7, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the Kaysville 4th Ward Chapel, 875 East 200 North, Kaysville, UT. Viewings will be held Thursday, October 6, 2011, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N Main, Farmington, UT and from 11:45 a.m.- 12:45 p.m. prior to services in Kaysville. The family wishes to express thanks to the angels from VistaCare Hospice for their loving care.
