Lewis Reid Beck passed away April 29, 2012 in St. George, Utah. He was born February 17, 1929 to Joseph Ishmael and Mabel Black Beck in Spring City, Utah. He and his wife served an LDS mission in Alaska where he served as Branch President.
Lewis loved camping, fishing, travel and most of all, spending time with his family. He was adored by everyone and was our source of unconditional love. He was our hero and an amazing example of courage while dealing with multiple physical challenges. He always smiled, never complained, and treated each day as a miracle. Norene was the love of his life, his constant companion, and an amazing caregiver until the end.
Survived by wife, Norene; four daughters, Jeanette Peck, Jeanenne (Rich) Larson, Susan (Craig) Buehler and Sandy (Kelly) Devereaux; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and brother, Joseph M. Beck. Preceded in death by sisters Ida Stubbs and Dora Arnoldson, and great grandson Troy Boulton.
