 #TEAMLILE

Lile Lynn Tua’one Manu, beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister, passed away surrounded by loved ones in West Bountiful, UT, on Christmas morning.

Lile was born March 07, 1972, to Levi Ki Tua’one and Sandra Lynn Jenks, in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She is the oldest of nine children. Raised in Salt Lake City, she spent her formative years in West Valley, and graduated from Viewmont High School in Bountiful.  She earned her Associate’s Degree from Weber State University and was a life-long learner.

Lile married Salesi Manu on November 19, 1993, in West Bountiful, where they settled and raised their family.  In 2014, the Manus became a forever family when they were sealed in the Bountiful LDS Temple. Lile was committed to her children, and could always be found on the sidelines of their games showing spirited encouragement.  Lile’s supportive nature was unparalleled; she consistently attended the games and events of her children, nieces and nephews.

Lile put her family and faith above all.  Lile loved her calling as a primary teacher, she had an uncanny knack for making all kids feel particular and special in her presence. She loved mint chocolate chip ice cream, crossword puzzles, monopoly, horror movies, romance novels, winning games against her sisters without cheating and watching football games with her dad.  She loved throwing showers, weddings, crocheting, buying baby clothes and group singing.  Our Lile was extremely generous and exuded Christ’s love at every step.

Survived by her husband Salesi Manu, children, Mosese Salesi Manu, Ethan Wallace Manu, Nanisi ‘I Fotu ‘A Laukau Jane Manu; parents, Levi Ki Tua’one, Sandra Lynn Jenks Tua’one; sisters, Lucy Jane (Carlos) Vasquez, Mele Larain Tua’one, Kalolaine Tua’one (Tupou) Amasio, Wendy Finau Tua’one, Valeri Dawn Tua’one, Natalie Sandra Tua’one; brothers, Eric Hugh Tua’one, Lave Dee Tua’one, and innumerable loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and so many friends.

Our family would like to thank the following for ensuring Lile’s final days were full of warmth, care and love: Dr. Hung Khong and the nurses, doctors and staff at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, The Dream Foundation, The Susan G Komen Foundation, CNS Hospice Services, Cancer Care Co-pay Foundation, Needs Beyond Medicine, Tammi Nordfors, West Bountiful 2nd Ward, and all the friends and family who helped raise funds to send the Manu Family on one final Hawaiian Vacation.

Services will be held at the West Bountiful Stake Center (1930 N. 600 W. West Bountiful).  Viewing (‘aap?) will be Tuesday from 6-10 p.m.; on Wednesday December 30, there will be a viewing from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and funeral services at Noon. Team Lile Forever.
