On Sept. 25, 2018 Lillian May Walker passed away in Bountiful, Utah at the age of 90.
Lillian was born on Jan. 1st, 1928 in Los Angeles, California to Rolland Richards and Maydelle Watts Candland. She was raised in the Los Angeles area. She lived 83 years in California before moving to Bountiful, Utah.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She married Donald Edward Walker on June 27th, 1952 in a garden wedding. 5 years later they went to the Los Angeles Temple to be sealed for time and all eternity.
Lillian worked various jobs when she was young. In later years she worked at Montgomery Wards, as a Junior High Librarian, and she retired from Bank of America.
She loved Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and the Hallmark Channel. She loved to laugh and spend time with her family. She adored her great grandchildren. She loved the Gospel and she served faithfully in various church callings through the years. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
She is survived by her children Elizabeth (Corey Campbell), Donald (Joan) Walker and Barbara Gray.
Her grandchildren are: Scott Walker, Tracie Walker, Daniel (Jennifer) Gray, Kim Gray, Cari (John) Ferrell, Joshua (Jennifer) Gray, Christine (Jacob) Gelder, Darren (Apryl) Gray, Jennifer (Alan) Grice and Justin Gray, Brian Gray and Hana Walker.
Her great grandchildren are Desiree, Ryan, Ashton, Laynie, Ozzy, Hailey, Bridgit and Tinlee, Amelia, Nolan and Elizabeth.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Edward Walker, her parents Rolland and Maydelle Candland, her brother Rolland Candland and sisters Maydelle Serrano and Edith Canfield, with many in-laws that also preceded her.
The family wishes to thank Heritage Place, Lakeview Hospital, North Canyon Care Center, One Care, Home Medical Services and Symbii Hospice and all the doctors and nurses that cared for our mom.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 6th, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
The viewings will be Friday evening, Oct. 5th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Saturday 9:45 to 10:45 AM prior to the service. They will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary at 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah.
We love you mom, grandma and great grandma. We will miss you.
