On August 8, 2013, our beloved mother, daughter & sister Linda Susan Evett Beckstead, at the young age of 60, departed to be in the arms of our Heavenly Father. Linda was born on December 25, 1952 to her parents, Donald E. Evett, and Kathryn LaMarr Evett. Linda was born at the Military Hospital at Fairchld AFB, Washington and she decided to come aboard to her mortal life at 4:13 a.m. She was such a beautiful little baby girl, the first born to the Evett family. Linda always had such a special spirit about her and she loved life to its fullest. She was an exceptional student who went on to become a Dental Assistant. She enjoyed traveling with her family, moving to various States and to Europe with her family as her father was in the military. Linda enjoyed art, painting and making new friends and treasuring their friendships. Linda left behind some very special children, Matthew, Luke and Joseph Beckstead whom she loved with all her heart and was ever so proud of. Their father passed away many years ago while the family lived in San Diego, California. Linda was married to Dr. John W. Beckstead who was practicing dentistry in San Diego. Linda and her boys then moved to Bountiful, Utah to be close to her parents and her brothers and sister, Gary, Donald, David and Cindy. She had a special love for her family, and she will be dearly missed and loved for all time and eternity. Linda was an active member in the LDS Church, and she always looked forward to the Sabbath day to attend worship services. She had such a devoted love for her Heavenly Father and her Savior, Jesus Christ. Funeral Services will be at the Russon Brothers Mortuary in Bountiful, 295 North Main, at 1:00 p.m. Monday August 12th. She will be buried at the City of Bountiful Cemetery. A special viewing will be held at the Mortuary Sunday evening between the hours of 6-8 p.m., and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Online guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com
