Linda Harvey Brown

Linda Harvey Brown passed away peacefully on October 10th, 2024 after a years long struggle with Parkinson's disease. 

She was born, along with her twin sister, Judy on October 24, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio. She married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) in 1960 and welcomed 8 children over the next 20 years. She loved being a mom and considered that a most worthwhile career. Music was a constant in her life.

She loved to play the piano, sing, dance and taught innumerable people to play the piano including all of her children. She also excelled in directing and was the choir director for many, many years at church. 

She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and always strived to serve others and be the very best person she could be. 

She had many hobbies and pastimes, including knitting and crocheting, movies and collecting cookbooks. She loved to dance with her husband wherever there was music, sometimes even in the living room. She loved to travel and they enjoyed traveling the world together over the years.

She was quirky, stubborn, a little OCD, fiercely loyal, loving, hard working, had a massive sweet tooth and was loved by all. 

She is survived by her twin sister Judy, other sisters Kim and Kay, 8 children, Heather (Richard), Russell (Lisa), Eric (Karen), Warren (Marissa), Alex (Stacy), Jason (Tashia), Daniel (Hyde), and Steven (Amber) ; 40 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She will be missed greatly by them and greeted lovingly by her husband, her parents and her brother.

A viewing will be held Sunday, October 20th from 6-8 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 N. MainSt. in Bountiful. The funeral will take place at the same location Monday, October 21st at 10:00 AM, followed by burial in Bountiful Cemetery.
