Linda Ann Harms

February 17, 1949 — November 17, 2022

Kaysville

Our beloved Wife, Mom, Granny and sister Linda left us on Thursday after a valiant struggle with cancer for the past six and a half years. Her parents were Elvin and Wanda King. She grew up with her siblings in Salt Lake City, and spent her teen summers in West Yellowstone, leading to her life-long love of Yellowstone and the Tetons.

Linda married Jurgen in November, 1967 and immediately opened her heart to become the mother of his three little children. Their small family grew with three more daughters, and she raised all six children as a complete family with love and fun.

Granny loved wildlife, nature, picnics, camping, painting, sewing and in her later years, family history. She grew gardens (that we had to weed too often), canned and preserved food and loved to cook and bake. She especially loved helping others and using her talents to bless lives.

Her home was always open to family, friends, neighbors, and anyone who needed a place to stay.  Granny retired after 25 years as a special education assistant at Monte Vista Elementary and Woods Cross High School, a career which she loved very much.

We loved her, and her passing will leave a hole in the hearts of all those who loved her, including her husband Jurgen, her children Clark (Wendy) Harms; Jeff (Bonnie) Harms; Michelle (Buck) Kinyon; Melisa (Bret) Meadows; Jody (Shane) Rose; and Jaime (Mark) Winkelman; her seventeen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and her three surviving sisters Nancy Jones, Joyce Bishop and Doris Baird.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Columbia Heights LDS meetinghouse (500 South Main, Kaysville). A visitation will be held Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 1941 North Main, Farmington, Utah; and briefly before her funeral from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens.

We want to thank all of those who have helped care for Linda throughout her life, and since her diagnosis and illness began, especially the last few weeks and days, and most of all to our Dad who cared for her every day.
