Linda W. Jensen was born to Glenwood and Margie Allred Wadley on August 26, 1944 in Provo, Utah. Linda grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah. After graduating from Pleasant Grove High School, she attended BYU for a short time. Linda was married to Joseph D. Jensen in the Salt Lake Temple on December 18, 1964. They are the parents of four children, grandparents to 12 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Although Linda loved being a mother more than any other job in the world, she did have the opportunity to work in various positions during her life. Her last and favorite position was with the Davis School District in Davis County, Utah working in the Human Resources Department in the Insurance Office for 14 years. Linda retired in January 2008.
Linda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings during her life. She had a strong testimony of and loved the gospel and her Savior Jesus Christ.
Joseph and Linda had the privilege of serving together as service missionaries as tour guides to visiting guests in the LDS Conference Center in Salt Lake for 3 years.
Linda is survived by sons, Steve (Jody), John (Bridget), Jeff (Julie), and daughter, Jolin Prisbrey (Mike). Grandchildren – Bailey, Melissa, Zach, Alex, Jacob, Sarah, Ian, Emma, Ethan, Dylan, Ella, and Claire. Great Grandchild – Evangelina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, father, mother, and sisters Ellen Mae, Gloria, and Doris.
The family would like to offer their thanks and gratitude to the staff at Legacy House of Parklane and to Inspiration Home Health & Hospice for the care they gave to Linda.
Private services will be held for the family and close friends.
