Linda Lue Talbot Searle

January 31, 1942 — December 9, 2020

Linda Searle passed away peacefully on December 9, 2020. Linda was born on January 31, 1942 to Lynn and Reva Talbot in Meadow, Utah. She married her high school sweetheart, Stephen R. Searle on June 16, 1960 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have been sealed together for 60 years and now throughout eternity.

Linda worked at an ice cream parlor and as a telephone junction operator prior to and at the beginning of her marriage. When Steve and Linda began their family, she was grateful for the opportunity to be able to be at home with her children, care for and raise them. Throughout her life she had the chance to move around the country where she enjoyed living with her family in many different states.  She also served through her faith in many capacities as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Linda would be the first to admit her greatest job and love was that of her husband Steve and her 4 children. Clay (Shelly), Russell (Cheryl), Blair (Jodi) and Heather (David). Linda was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Our mother, grandmother and friend was very well-known for always keeping a beautifully decorated home and of course her wonderful cooking. She delighted in these tasks. She will be missed but we take comfort in knowing of the great reunion that took place as she was reunited with many loved ones.

In lieu of any flowers, we welcome your shared memories or stories here so that we can together remember and celebrate the life of Linda Searle.

As a family we thank Life Care Center of Holladay, Utah for taking such good care of Linda these last few years. We will be holding a small, immediate family only service this weekend, afterwards Linda will be laid to rest in the Memorial Lakeview Cemetery in Utah.
