Lloydora (Lee) Vivian Kelley

July 21, 1926 — November 23, 2016

Lloydora (Lee) Vivian Pickings Kelley, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 23, 2016.  Born July 21, 1926 in Los Gatos, California to Ora and Lloyd Pickings.  She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Marshall Kelley, one sister, Pat Riemer, she and Marshall adopted 3 sons, David (Lorriane), Paul (deceased) (Jalyn) and John.  She was blessed with 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandkids.

She graduated from San Jose St. in 1948, then lived abroad in Japan, Germany and Italy, finally moving back to the United States in 1966, where they settled in Laurel, MD and in 1973, moved to Alexandria, VA.  In 1990, she and Marshall retired to Bountiful, Utah. 

She became a member of the LDS church in 1962, being baptized in Mediterranean Sea, just outside of Pisa, Italy.  Lee was a devoted wife, mother and friend to all who knew her.  While in the DC area, she volunteered at the Smithsonian, hosting countless dinner parties for friends and family, her house was always welcome to anyone needing a meal or a place to stay.  She loved her family and friends very much, a good game of bridge or just meeting with a book club.   

A viewing will be held at Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful, Utah, and on Thursday, Dec 1, 2016 9:30 to 10:30 am at North Canyon 4th Ward, 965 Oakwood Drive, Bountiful, Utah, followed by funeral service at 11:00 am.
