Lois Benson

BOUNTIFUL-Lois Benson was born on April 4, 1925, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and passed away peacefully in her room at the Inn at Barton Creek in Bountiful, Utah, on July 6, 2012. Lois married Donald E Benson August 27, 1948, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived most of their married life in Centerville, Utah.
She was an accomplished homemaker who touched many lives over many years. Making pies was her passion, which we all enjoyed throughout the years. She loved visiting with her family and friends, and watching the Utah JAZZ with Don.
We will miss her.
She is survived by her sons, Randy (Sue) and Marty (Jodi), and daughter, Cheri (Warren) Moore; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Frances (Sterling) Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; brother, Joe (Jolene) Glassett, and sister, Wanda (Stan) Jones; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at the Park Meadows Ward, 690 N. 400 W., Centerville, Utah. Viewing will be 9:45 – 10:45 a.m at the church prior to the funeral services. Interment-Centerville City Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com.
