Lois Bradfield

March 22, 1946 — September 24, 2012

Lois Petersen Bradfield, was born March 22, 1946 in Delta, Utah, to Grant M and Claire Webb Petersen of Oasis, Utah. She passed away Monday, September 24, 2012 in Bountiful, Utah of cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Lois is survived by four children, twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Sons: Grant (Denice), Wayne (Cathleen), Michael (Burgundi); daughter: June Bradfield and Bart Kinsey. Also survived by a brother, Ronald (Susan) Petersen, of Delta, Utah, and nieces and nephews.
Family was most important to her. She always loved when any of them would drop by for a visit. She’d say to the grandchildren, “Your hugs are the fuel that fills my tank and keeps me going.”
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Over the years she served in various callings in Relief Society, Primary, Sunday School and Mutual.
Lois graduated from Delta High School, and Salt Lake Community College.
She worked for Corporate Benefits, Inc, Beneficial Life Insurance Company and Davis County School Food Service (back when they cooked fresh meals at the school each day to serve the children).
Services will be held on Saturday, September, 29, at 11:00 a.m., at the Bountiful 20th Ward Church, 102 East 1400 South, Bountiful, UT under the direction of Russon Brothers Mortuary.
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, UT, and prior to the funeral, from 9:30-10:40 a.m., at the Church. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
