Lois Kathryn Carmichael

Lois Kathryn Judd Carmichael, age 85, passed away August 23, 2012 quietly and peacefully incident to age at her home in Bountiful, Utah
Lois Kathryn Judd was born September 6, 1926 in Hoytsville, Utah to George H. Judd and Rose Sargent. Kathryn graduated from North Summit High School.
She married Wayne Hoyt Carmichael July 21, 1944 in Del Rio, Texas and later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Noted for her crocheting and knitting, her love of animals, gardening and many outdoors activities, including snowmobiling, camping, ice-skating, and ballroom dancing.
She is survived by her husband and many wonderful nieces and nephews, along with many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Orchard 1st Ward Chapel, 3707 South 800 West, Bountiful, Utah. Visitations will be held Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Tuesday morning 9:00-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
