Lois Swenson

January 19, 1924 — October 14, 2013

BOUNTIFUL-On October 14, 2013, Lois Bertha George Swenson, 89, passed away peacefully at home. She was born January 19, 1924 in Logan, Cache County, Utah, to Oscar and Luiza George. Mom enjoyed the simple things in life, she loved her home and caring for her beautiful yard, every little leaf was to be swept away. She loved her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends to just drop in, and stay awhile. Always giving a treat.
Mother was a caregiver all her life to her dear husband, her mother and her daughter, Jackie. Mother enjoyed a good book, chatting to whoever would listen, but most of all mother loved the Lord, Savior, Jesus Christ and at times in her life serving in church callings.
On May 21, 1942 she married Theo LaVoir Swenson in the Logan LDS Temple.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her two brothers, LaMar Henry George and Kay Dean George. She is survived by two daughters, Jackie, Bountiful; Barbara (Val) Wilson, North Salt Lake; and a son, Gary Swenson, North Salt Lake; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister Devoyle Cornell, Logan, Utah.
