Loraine Barber

Loraine Wiseman Barber died peacefully March 11, 2011 at the home of her son. She was born November 11, 1926 to David and Martha (Garrett) Wiseman in Bountiful, Utah. She married Clinton Smith Barber on September 25, 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they raised four children. Clinton died in 1988, after 22 years apart they are together again. Everyone knew mother as kind and thoughtful. She loved the gospel and was a faithful member of the LDS Church. She was an avid reader and had many talents that centered mainly on her family and loved ones. Loraine was preceded in death by her husband, son Steven Wiseman Barber, brothers, Rulon and Glen, and sister, Lona Stevens. She is survived by daughters, Pamela Kay and Shelley Ann Barber; son, Gary Smith (Lisa) Barber; siblings, Marjorie Thornley, Florence Lawson, Clyde David Wiseman and Jean (Ned) Hartvigsen; and 5 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the Centerville 1st Ward, 160 South 300 East, where a viewing will be held from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Centerville City Cemetery.
