Lorena Gayle Prince Hanson

     Lorena passed away June 5, 2023, at the age of 60, after suffering with Multiple System Atrophy for many years.
     She was born July 13, 1962, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jay G Prince & Della Marilyn Powell Prince.  She married Wayne Earle Hanson, on Oct 11, 1979, in North Salt Lake, Utah, and this marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, on Aug. 8, 1981.  She loved her family very much and enjoyed the many visits that her children and grandchildren made to see her.  

     She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne. Her mother-in-law, Verna Hanson. Her five children, daughters Gayle (& wife Kirsty) Gallagher, Kimberly Mehraban, & sons Robert (& wife Lacey) Hanson, Jeremy (& wife Josslynn) Hanson, & Nicholas (& wife Sarah) Hanson, along with 10 grandchildren, Gayle & Kirsty's children, Delaney & Ronan, Kimberly's children, Cartel & Archer, Robert & Lacey's children, Wesley & Nolan, & Jeremy & Josslynn's children, Madelyn, Hayden, Abigail, and Levi.  She is also survived by two brothers, Randy (Monica) Prince, Steven (Lori) Prince, and four sisters, Mary Ann (Dave) Mellen, Marsha (Bob) Delongchamp, Elaine (Gary) Goold, & Marilyn (Kirk) Richardson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Della Prince, Brother Lynn Prince, sister, Ann Marie Barton, and her father-in-law, Earle Hanson.

     She will be greatly missed by us all, but we know that she is now free of this terrible disease.
