Lorene Morrell Miles, 79, of Bountiful Utah, passed away on October 14, 2023. She was born to Rulen and Inez Morrell in Wayne County, Utah, on June 7, 1944 and grew up on a small farm in Fremont where she participated in cheerleading while attending Wayne County High School.
A few years after graduation she married school classmate, Stanley Hunt. Though this relationship wasn’t permanent, they did have four children together in their 25 plus years of marriage. Her second marriage was to Reg Miles for almost 20 years. After their divorce they remained good friends until his passing.
Always a social butterfly, she easily made friends throughout her time living for many years in Farmington and Centerville and most recently, Bountiful. Later in life, often when a new neighbor moved into her apartment complex, she greeted them with a warm smile and an eagerness to find out more about their lives. She loved serving others through giving rides to those who needed it, having a listening ear or playing the piano in church for the children.
Preceded in death by her parents, Rulen and Inez Morrell, and her brother, Darwin Morrell. Survived by her brother, Douglas (Janett) Morrell, and sister, LaJuana (LaMont) Taylor; and children, Christina (Martin) Curtis, Kevin Hunt, Traci Hunt, and Justin (Tammie) Hunt; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the Centerville Cemetery, 650 East 400 South, Centerville, Utah.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you plant a tree or make donations to your favorite charity in her name.
