Loretta Mary Casper

Loretta Mary Jones Casper, age 79, passed away peacefully in her sleep with her husband, Norman George Casper by her side on Thursday, April 13, 2017. Born February 18, 1938 in Tabiona, Utah to Curtis and Jennie Chatwin Jones. Raised in Tabiona, Utah where she was a twirler for Tabiona High School. She met and married her sweetheart, Norman on January 28, 1956. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Soon after being married, they moved to Salt Lake, where she worked for a bank and supported Norman through his schooling. They later moved to Bountiful where they raised their 3 daughters. She was a fabulous cook where she enjoyed sharing her talent of cooking with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her grandchildren meant the world to her and her favorite memories were times spent with them. She was an excellent seamstress and she was careful and perfect in all that she sewed. She and her husband, Norman worked together making arts and crafts for over 15 years and they traveled the western United States selling their creations.
Survived by husband, Norman, mother, Jennie, daughter Julie Ann (Wayne) Denning, Vicki Sue (Kes) Armstrong and Suzette Kay (Todd) Paskett, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Siblings, Cleo Hackford, Linda Stone, Faye Woolsey, Delyle "Butch" Jones, Jana Sweat and Marvin Jones. Preceded in death by father, Curtis Jones, siblings, DeEtta Casper, Ronald Jones, brother (Stillborn) and Leon Jones.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Bountiful 30th Ward 650 East 2150 South, Bountiful, UT 84010. Viewings will be on Thursday evening April 20 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Russon Brothers Mortuary 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, UT 84010 and on Friday morning from 9:30-10:30 at the LDS Church. Interment will follow the services at Lakeview Memorial Estates 1640 Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, UT 84010.
