Lorraine Naegle

June 22, 1921 — May 11, 2013

Lorri, our precious angelic mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother passed away peacefully at her home in Bountiful, Utah on Saturday, May 11, 2013.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Joseph Thomas Phillips and Myrtle Call Phillips on June 22, 1921. She was just shy of her 92nd birthday. She grew up in Salt Lake City with her older sister Geraldine (Jerry). They were very close. Devoted to each other.
Lorri married George Zimmerman Naegle January 19, 1938. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Lorri was a good loving wife, fantastic mother, awesome mother-in-law, the best grandmother, wonderful dancer, fun attentive waitress, grand boss, an inspiring, caring, friend, motivational speaker and family counselor. Phenomenal person!
She was a hard worker her whole life not retiring till age 76. During WWII she managed and taught dancing at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Salt Lake City.
Her greatest joy was being with her family.
She is survived by her children Linda (David) Hunter, Conrad Anthony (Shari) Naegle, Larry Brent Naegle, Linda Naegle, Angie Naegle; special nieces and nephews; 18 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband George, sister Geraldine (Jerry) Lahnherrr, sons Robert (Buzz) and George (Judd) Naegle, grandsons Marty and Cory Naegle, great-grandson Kyle Naegle and great-great-grandson Nicholas Rodeback.
The family would like to thank Brother Larry for the many many years of his tender loving care of our mother. Also thanks to Good Shepherd Hospice for their care the past couple of months. A viewing will be held Friday, May 17, 2013 from 9:45-10:30 a.m. at the Russon Brothers Mortuary 295 North Main in Bountiful. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West.
We will really miss you dear mother, there will be rejoicing in heaven. You always were the life of the party.
