Ruby Lorraine Olson Klemm passed away April 9th, 2015 from complications of diabetes. Lorraine was born in Murray, UT on November 12, 1931 to Willard Olaf and Ruby Taylor Olson. Raised in Murray, she graduated from Murray High School and then completed the St. Marks School of Nursing. She worked at various Salt Lake City and Bountiful hospitals, later working an office nurse for doctors Guyman and Clarke in Bountiful.
She married her eternal companion, H. Ralph Klemm in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on November 5, 1953. She and Ralph were blessed with five children. Lorraine was an active member of the LDS church serving in many leadership and teaching positions, including Stake Primary President and Ward Relief Society President. After her retirement, she and Ralph served a mission to the Washington, DC Temple. Lorraine had many creative talents and especially enjoyed sewing, gardening and cake decorating.
Lorraine is survived by her loving husband of 61 years H. Ralph Klemm, and five children: Kathleen Klemm; Steven (Linda) Klemm; Ron (Anne) Klemm; Rosemary (Eldon) Payne; Susan (Scott) Jurges; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sisters Eleanor Pratt and Janice Peck. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Russell Olson, and two infant grandsons.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 15th at 11:00 AM in the Orchard Sixth Ward Building, 3599 Orchard Drive, Bountiful, UT. Friends and family may visit Tuesday, April 14th between 6:00 and 8:00 PM at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, UT, or Wednesday, April 15th between 9:45 and 10:45 AM at the church.
