Bud was born Dec. 26, to Edwin and Clara, and passed away peacefully July 20, next to his eternal sweetheart of 63 years, Carol, after whispering the words I love you. He lived his entire life in Woods Cross. He loved most sports and was an avid fisherman who is now sharing stories with his 3 brothers, sister and parents, about who had the biggest catch. He was a master electrician who oversaw many major projects. He revered and honored his country; as a WWII Navy vet he fought in many battles in the Pacific Theatre and later served two separate terms on the Woods Cross City Council. He was active in Boy Scouts, guiding many young men and received the recognition of Silver Beaver. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, who loved the Savior and his family. He is survived by his wife, children, Kurt, Jeri Lynn, Gary (Vicky), 11 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 26, at the Woods Cross 2nd Ward, 1500 South 800 West, Woods Cross. A viewing will be held from 6-8 pm Wednesday, July 25, at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main, and Thursday morning from 9:45-10:45 am at the church prior to services. Interment at Bountiful City Cemetery.
