Passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on September 8, 2014.
Luke was born August 31, 1992 in Layton, Utah to Scott and April (Miller) Schryver.
Lucas was loving and much loved. He had a distinctive laugh and great sense of humor. Luke always had the perfect one-liner and knew just what to say in every scenario. He was a loyal friend and brother, and looked for any excuse to spend time with the people he loved.
He excelled at everything he tried. Bowling, golf, baseball, skateboarding; you name it, he could do it. Luke was always up for adventure and enjoyed the outdoors. Music was an integral part of his life. He became a natural musician despite having no formal training, and always had a song playing.
Luke was a hard worker and was known for his work ethic. He was employed at Worrell Masonry and loved his crew.
Luke is survived by his parents, brothers and sisters, Jamie Hammerschmidt (Doug), Mitchell, Jordan, Anthony, and Aerika Abbott (Tyler), his grandparents Steven Miller and Wilda Hess, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, niece and nephews. Luke is preceded in death by his grandfather Darrold Schryver, grandmother Coy (Golightly) Miller, uncles Steven (Bo) Miller and Todd Schrvyer.
