Lucille Rampton Perry passed away at home on February 2, 2010 of natural causes in Bountiful, Utah at the age of 90. She was born on January 19, 1920 in Bountiful, Utah the daughter of Alfreda Hansen and John Robertson Rampton. Lucille received her early education at the Stoker School in Bountiful and at Davis High School. She studied art at the U. of U. under LeConte Stewart. She studied sculpturing under Tarlief Knaphus. She belonged to the Utah State Poetry Society, and the Rhyme and Reason chapter. She belonged to the League of Utah Writers and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was an active member of the LDS church and served in many callings. She created some beautiful paintings. She was ever willing to dedicate her time and talents in producing scenery for road shows, cover designs for church programs of all kinds, placards for social events and even a float for the Bountiful 24th parade. She served an LDS mission to South Carolina and was also a Salt Lake and a Bountiful temple worker for many years. She married Curtis Scott Perry on August 15, 1940 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were later divorced. Together they had 6 children. Survived by her sons: Richard C. Hazel Sandy ; Grant R. Carol Anne West Valley; daughters: Carol J. Bjork Claron Price, Janice Bosworth Norman Sandy; Elaine Youngberg Ross Bountiful, Sharon K. Youngberg Mark Emmett ID: one brother John Rampton Mary Bountiful; 31 grandchildren, and 39 great grand children.and at least five on the way. Preceded in death by two grandsons, Byron Bosworth and Jeffrey Youngberg, and one great grandson, Joshua Evans, 6 sisters and 3 brothers. The family expresses appreciation to South Davis Hospice for their loving care over the past two years. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Bountiful 31st Ward, 585 E. Center in Bountiful, Utah, where friends and family may call from 9:30 am to 10:30 am prior to services. Interment in the Bountiful Cemetery
