Lula Secrist

Lula Jean Secrist died December 18, 2010. She was born in Morgan, Utah, on November 20, 1918, to Lula and Clifton Heiner. Her father died when Lula Jean was 3 months old. Her mother eventually married Christian Adolph Ulrich and he helped raise Lula Jean. She graduated from Morgan High School and Weber College. Following World War II, Lula Jean met and married Harold Secrist. She worked as an item manager at Hill Air Force Base for many years. She enjoyed music all her life, playing saxophone in her high school band, serving as church organist, and teaching many students to play the piano. Lula Jean is survived by sons David (PJ) and Richard (Rachelle). She was preceded in death by husband, Harold and son, Brian. Viewing and funeral services will be held Monday, December 27, 2010, at the LDS 14th Ward chapel, 1500 S. 600 E., Bountiful, Utah. Viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. and the funeral service will commence at the church at approximately 11:15 a.m. Internment at Bountiful City Cemetery.
