Biography

Lyle has left the earth.
Lyle A. Jardine passed away at home on December 9, 2013 following his battle with the big “C”. He was born November 13, 1942 to Blaine and Arva Jardine in Logan, Utah. He married Judy Cannon. Later divorced. He married Isabel Garcia in June 1984.
Lyle served in the Navy on the U.S.S. Intrepid CV-11 from 1961-1963. He worked at Edo Corporation from 1969 until his retirement in 2005. He enjoyed spending time with family and was known as a “Jack-of-all-Trades”. He was always willing to assist anyone in need. He loved astronomy and music. He was a huge Elvis fan and loved watching and attending concerts.
He is survived by his wife, Isabel; children: Christina (Joe) Godfrey, Todd (Merilee) Jardine, Sean (Leslie) Jardine, Clint Jensen, and Jessica Barona; his beloved dog, T-Bone; 13 grandchildren; and 4 brothers. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Terry Jardine, son Kerry Jensen, grandchildren, Jacob Pratt, and Natalie and Neesa Godfrey.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where a visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to the American Cancer Society in Lyle’s name.
