Major Randy S. Rees

December 27, 1951 — December 22, 2018

Early on December 22nd, 2018 the greatest man that my family ever knew, Major Randy S. Rees passed on to join a more heavenly realm.

He was born in Salt Lake City, UT on December 27th,1951 into a slowly growing military family. He later graduated from the University of Utah in 1977 with degrees in Mathematics and Psychology.

Shortly after his fathers passing in 1975 he joined the Air Force as a computer programer. He would travel the country from Idaho to Montana, California and Nebraska for 17 years. He truly loved every bit.

He had 7 brothers, and sisters sharing a very strong, and loving relationship even if they never saw eye to eye completely. In the end he always wished things could have worked out eventually.

As his favorite poet Robert Frost quoted “There never was any heart truly great and generous, that was not also tender and compassionate”.

He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Debbie. His 2 sons, Patrick and Erick. Also his 3 grandchildren Enzo, Abigail, and Quinton.

Marriage later solemnized at the Bountiful Temple.

Services will be held at the Woods Cross Stake Center located at 2064 South 800 West, Woods Cross, UT on Friday, Jan 4th 2019. The viewing will be from 11:30 am – 12:45 pm. The funeral at 1:00 pm. If you and your family can make it my family would really appreciate it.
