Marcia was born April 10, 1970 in Wichita, Kansas to Clifford Artz and Helen Valdez. She was taken from this life too soon by a virus. She passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on February 22, 2012. At a young age, Marcia loved playing football with her brothers. She enjoyed camping, four wheeling, and being outdoors with her family. She attended Viewmont High, where she met and married Robert Crosby. They were married for 15 years and had 3 beautiful daughters. Later divorced. She was later surprised with the gift of another daughter, Oriana. Marcia loved to be with family. She was a good cook and even after her girls were grown, they would call her to come home for a good home cooked meal. She was momma bear and would do anything for her 4 girls. Marcia had a natural ability to comfort everyone around her. She was always joking and could make anyone smile. She will be forever in our hearts. Survived by her parents, Clifford (Lupe) Artz, Helen Valdez, her brothers, Bart (Jessica) Artz, Marcial (Wendy) Artz, and daughters Cassie (Kyle), Trista, Scotti, and Oriana, and her only grandson Kyson. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, February 25, 2012 at St. Olaf’s Catholic Church, 1800 S. Orchard Dr., Bountiful. Friends may call Friday from 6-7 pm with Rosary at 7:00 pm. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main. A gathering will be held at the mortuary on Saturday from 2-4 pm.
