Marcus Paul Salmon

The world lost an incredible guy, Marcus Paul Salmon, 35 of Layton, Utah. He passed away September 28, 2018. He was born September 20, 1983 to Keith and Eileen Salmon.

Marcus was the youngest of 5 children. He was the best baby and so loveable! He grew up in West Bountiful and Centerville, Utah. He graduated from Viewmont High School in 2002. He married Krissy Hess, the love of his life on March 6, 2010. They had 2 children, Cayden 6 and Kaylee 3 who just loved their Daddy!

Marcus had a huge heart! He was the most tender hearted person around and most people would describe him as a giant teddy bear. He was always first to offer help and service to those in need. He loved helping people and would give you the shirt off of his back if needed.

He had so many talents and abilities which he constantly used to help friends, family and neighbors with all sorts of different projects. He was the greatest handyman around; he could fix anything. He loved to work alongside his dad and best little buddy Cayden in the construction business.

Marcus loved hunting and fishing and basically anything outdoors! He loved spending time with Krissy and his children. He enjoyed cooking, barbequing, and smoking food to share with others. He loved going to the cabin at Flaming Gorge. He had a great love for animals, especially his dog Bear.

He is survived by his wife Krissy Hess Salmon and their 2 children Cayden and Kaylee. His dad, Keith Salmon. His siblings Stephanie (Jim) Paget, Shari (Travis) Blatter, Michelle (Mike) Boswell, Adam (Elizabeth) Salmon. His grandma, Gail Salmon, in laws: Cherie (Mike) Carter, Jon (Sherri) Hess and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Eileen Limburg Salmon, his grandmother Emma Geneal Limburg Smith and many others.

We are forever grateful for all of our friends, family and community that has rallied around us at this time. Your support has helped us all stay positive and focus on the greater purpose that we all have in this life. We love you all so much and thank you for your continued support.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at 11am in the Farmington Stake Center, 347 S 200 W, Farmington, Utah. Friends may visit family at a viewing on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018, from 6-8pm at Russon Mortuary, 1941 N Main St, Farmington, Utah and Wednesday, October 3rd from 9:45-10:45am at the Stake Center.
