Margaret Smedley Sedgwick Wood Barlow
1924-2012

Beloved daughter of God, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a great grandmother passed away March 30, 2012. She was born September 4, 1924 to Asa and Sarah Elizabeth Manning Smedley. She married Harold C. Sedgwick September 27, 1945, deceased. She married Kenneth H. Wood Oct 6, 1952, deceased. Then she married LaMar H. Barlow March 1, 1988.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was an active member all her life. She served faithfully in every calling she received. She was very caring, always worried about others, and tried to warm the hearts of everyone she met. She worked for Zion First National Bank in Bountiful followed by secretarial work at Woods Cross High School upon opening.
Survived by her husband LaMar, sisters Alice Dahl and Aurelia Kerchoff, daughters Joyce Ann Maughan and Marilyn Gentry (Robert) and son Richard K. Wood (Carolyn), 6 step-children, 22 grand children, and 43 great grand children.
The viewing will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary at 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The viewing and funeral will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2012 with viewing from 9:30 am to 10:30 am and funeral at 11:00 at the Bountiful 58th Ward located at 200 North and 200 West in Bountiful, Utah.
