Margaret Crawford Adams

Margaret Crawford Adams "Grandma Grandma", 77, was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 20, 1939. She passed away peacefully at the University of Utah hospital in Salt Lake City on October 19, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones following a short illness.
     Margaret was the daughter of Margaret and Jedediah Crawford. She graduated from Granite High School in Salt Lake City. She was married to Gerald Dwayne Adams on February 17, 1962, where they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti, Utah Temple. They had two children together, Gerald Patrick Adams and Cynthia Marie (Adams) Larson. Sadly, their mortal journey together was a short one due to Gerald's passing before the birth of their daughter Cynthia, This left Margaret to perform the duties of a single mother, a task at which she excelled.
      Margaret was employed by the Internal Revenue Service until her retirement. Upon retirement she spent her days taking care of her three granddaughters.
    Margaret was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoyed serving in various callings throughout the Church. She regularly attended the Temples she loved so much and would often visit different Temples when she went on trips and vacations. She was a long time member of the Lone Poplar Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, crossword puzzles, walking, road trips, reading, and spending time with her family. She was especially fond of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her outgoing, generous, kind, and loving personality. Her colorful homemade Christmas and Birthday cards and her equally colorful small crocheted houses will always be remembered by anyone lucky enough to have ever received one.
   She is survived by two sisters, Helen Baumann and Cathy Rollins (Gary), Son Gerald Patrick Adams, Daughter Cynthia A. Larson (Mark), Granddaughters Jessica A. Stucker (Joshua), Kristina M. Odnoha (Andre), Michelle E. Larson and by 8 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by Husband Gerald, mother Margaret, father Jedediah, and three siblings.
    There will be a viewing held in her honor on Tuesday, October 25th from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah. A second viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 26th at the Bountiful 27th Ward House located at 1145 North 200 East in Bountiful, Utah from 9:45 am-10:45 am. Funeral services will follow the viewing at 11:00 am. She will be interred at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 Dimple Dell Rd, Sandy Utah following the service.
