Margaret Corless Anderson (Marge)passed away on February 24, 2016 of natural causes.
Margaret was born in Salt Lake City on June 24, 1923 to Charles Henry and Ethel Hanson. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Margaret was a graduate of East High School and attended classes at the University of Utah.
Always a hard worker, Margaret helped to provide for her family working at Dugway Proving Grounds during World War II, Tandy Leather Company (18 years) and Pyke Manufacturing (also 18 years). She retired at age 72.
She married Weymouth William Anderson and together they had 5 children. Christie Swenson, Sue Anderson, Michael Jo (Sam) Ungricht, Weymouth (Jill) Anderson and Barry (Becky) Anderson.
She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, who became the pride, joy and loves of her life. Andrea Park, Ancherie Swenson, Tiffiny Lee, Rayne Baskerville, Gretchen Adams, Colby Molotchick, Peter Anderson, Brandon Anderson, Brett Anderson, Brady Anderson, Michael Anderson and Bradley Anderson.
She also was the proud great grandma of 24 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, parents, siblings- Charles Lamar, Morris Jay and Kathryne Corless, as well as a son-in-law, Robert Pack and a grandson, Colby.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a brother, Ralph Thomas Corless.
A fierce champion of her children, our family will miss her constant support, loyalty, her quick wit and memory and her love and devotion.
The family wishes to acknowledge the kindness and care provided by The Inn at Barton Creek where Margaret lived the past 3 years. We also express our appreciation to Dr. Celia Garner, Margaret's physician, and the wonderful staff in the progressive care unit of Lakeview Hospital for their sensitivity and loving care in mom's last days.
A viewing will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary in Bountiful, Utah (295 North Main Street in Bountiful) on Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at the Mortuary and from 9:45-10:45 a.m. on Monday, February 29th. A service for family members will be held after the viewing on Monday. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
