Margaret Sewell Bunn

August 31, 1931 — May 20, 2015

Our sweet mom, grandma, and great-grandma returned to her Heavenly Father and the arms of her beloved husband and parents on May 20, 2015. Margaret Sewell Bunn was born the last child and only daughter of Benjamin Harrison and Myrtle Clarkson Sewell on August 31, 1931. Margaret was adored by her older brothers, Wayne, Ralph, Clyde, Richard, and Ted. She was an incredible blessing to her sweet mother and father throughout their lives.

Margaret married the love of her life, Tedd Bunn, on October 5, 1957. Together they had two daughters, Michelle and Randie along with Tedd’s daughter, Kelly. Tedd and Margaret were inseparable throughout their married life working together on household projects as well as running Tedd’s printing business for many years. Nothing brought them more joy than being together and watching their daughters grow. Their time together was cut too short by Tedd’s passing away just six weeks short of their 24th wedding anniversary. What a joyous reunion has taken place! (Their marriage was solemnized in the Bountiful Temple on May 10, 2013.)

Mom has enjoyed watching each of her grandchildren grow and become wonderful adults. However, nothing has made her face light up more than holding each of her three great-grandsons the day they were born and watching them play together. She has been so excited thinking about her new great-granddaughter coming this year; now she can enjoy her and send her to us. Family has always been the most important thing in Mom’s life; she put each of her family members’ needs before her own throughout her whole life.

Mom has always been an amazing cook, housekeeper, and gardener. She took such pride in her home and preparing wonderful feasts whenever she had visitors. She loved to crochet and knit; she made some wonderful, dear friends in her “Knitting Group” which has met every Wednesday night for about 10 years. Even when Mom couldn’t see to knit, she loved listening to the conversations and having the visitors.

Mom will be dearly missed by her daughter, Michelle and her husband Bob Denson (whom she considers her dear son); her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Zack & Kenzi Denson and their son, Wyatt (and baby Paige due in August), Mallorie & Tom Forbes and their sons Andrew and Lewis, Bryndie Tingey, Sammi & Levi Alger, Kenzie & John Peterson, and Maddi & Jeremy Dimond; her step-daughter, Kelly Apgood and son-in-law, Rick. Mom is also survived by Tedd’s siblings and spouses: sister-in-law Dorothy Bunn, Marie (Allen) Totten, Harold (Mary Lou) Bunn along with many nieces and nephews; and her daughter, Randie Tingey. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tedd, parents, parents-in-law, and brothers. Again, what a wonderful reunion is taking place!

We’d like to thank her physician, Dr. Darin Checketts, the staff at Apple Village Assisted Living, Kindred at Home, and Harmony Home Health and Hospice, especially Sonya, Sarah, Dianna, and Justin for their wonderful care of Mom. We’d especially like to thank her dear, sweet friend, Carlene Martindell for her unwavering love and concern for Mom for the past few years. She’s been such a blessing to Mom!

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in the LDS Angel Street Chapel (628 South Angel Street; Layton, Utah) at 11:00am. A viewing will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary in Farmington Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 and at the church prior to the funeral from to 9:45-10:45. Interment will be in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
