Centerville, Utah – Margene (Marge) Lofthouse Carr passed away February 23, 2014 in Centerville, UT. Born May 20, 1933 in Lewiston, Utah to John Henry Lofthouse and Elva Ann Neeley Lofthouse. Married Blaine Streeper Carr, May 12, 1955.
Marge was an active member of the L.D.S. church serving in the Primary; as a Jr. Sunday School organist; Children’s Friend rep.; cub scout den leader; ward sports director and stake sports official; 2nd Counselor in the MIA; ward, building house and stake librarian, and an avid member of the Twin Star Riding Club.
Survived by one son Rex Blaine Carr (Colleen Walters) and two daughters Vivian Scott (Rory), and Roseanne Carr Atkinson; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Her husband Blaine, 1 brother, and her parents preceded her in death.
Viewings will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary 295 No. Main, Bountiful, UT., Friday, February 28th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Centerville City Cemetery.
