Margo Ingeborg Gehrum Spadevicchia

Our loving mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many passed away surrounded by family who loved her dearly.

Born August 24, 1935, in Pforzheim, Germany, to Herman and Louise Gehrum.  Mom was only four years old when World War II started and nine when it ended.  All of the family survived.

Mom traveled to America by herself not knowing any English.  She stayed with family until Oma and Opa, and her sister, Elfriede, arrived.

Mom worked at Chrysler where she met the love of her life (her Tony).  They moved to Utah from New Jersey.  Mom and Dad had three children, Susan (Robert), Steven, and Lisa (Kelly).  Mom loved her grandkids very much, Joshua, Teresa, Amber, Haylee, and Cody.  They had seven great grandchildren also.

Mom loved gardening, especially her roses.  They received an award from Bountiful City for their beautiful yard!

Mom always made birthdays and holidays extra special.  Our home always smelled like a wonderful dinner cooking or cookies baking!

Mom and Dad took many trips together visiting fun places, but Wendover was their favorite.

Mom we love you so much and will miss you more than anything, but know you are in heaven with dad now.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah, where a viewing will be held that afternoon from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to services.

Services will be streamed live on the Russon Mortuary & Crematory Facebook page and on this obituary page. The live stream will begin 10-15 minutes before services begin and will be posted below.
