Her walk with Jesus led her to her final destination, our beloved Wife, Mom, Aunt, Grandma, Great-Grandma Linda Valdez, passed away December 14, 2024, due to health complications. She was born July 21, 1947, in Dolores, Colorado to Joseph Ubaldo and Margarita (Lucero) Trujillo Sr.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Margie Trujillo, and her brothers, Joseph Trujillo Jr., Gilbert Trujillo.
She married the love of her life, Silviano (Silvie) Sevvy Valdez, on September 15, 1962. They enjoyed 62 blessed years together.
Linda loved to crochet, scrapbook and the occasional thrifting when she felt well enough to venture out. Spending time with all her kids, grandkids and great grandkids was her favorite thing to do. She loved to make homemade tortillas and Mexican food for her family. Having a room full of family was her joy and passion. Her sense of humor and playfulness with her grandkids was always a joy to watch.
Linda’s strong faith in God allowed her life to be a living example of unconditional love, the power of carrying grace in your heart and making room at the table for anyone who walked through the door.
Linda is survived by her husband, Silvie, her 7 beloved children and their spouses Ross (Amber J.) Valdez, Jeannie Valdez, Silvie (Amber M.) Valdez Jr., Linda J. (Oscar) Ochoa, David Valdez, Dayleen (Jesse) Flores, Kayleen (Chris) Lyman; 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren plus countless family members she cared for over her lifetime. She was so loved and loved well, unconditionally, and hard!
