Marian Banford

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother returned to her Heavenly Father, January 30, 2010. She was born January 14, 1915 in Ogden, Utah to Aaranthon and Eliza Bingham. Mom was a faithful member of the LDS Church and held many positions during her lifetime. While facing many challenges in her life, she never lost her positive spirit and optimistic attitude. Mom’s unselfish love and kindness will live forever in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. She will be dearly missed. If there is one legacy that she left, it would unmistakably be her children. She is survived by her three sons, Robert Carolyne Banford, Michael Patricia Banford, Gary Wendy Banford; and her daughter, Susan Bill Woodward. She is also survived by her brother, Kenneth Carol Bingham; 16 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. Her oldest daughter, who preceded her in death, is once again feeling the loving embrace of her mother’s arms. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the Fruit Heights 2nd Ward, 901 South Mtn. Road, Fruit Heights, Utah, where a visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Interment-Salt Lake City Cemetery.
