Our dear mother (momma), grandmother, sister, and aunt Marian Wood Page, 92, passed away on November 6, 2014. Marian was born on April 20, 1922 to John H. and Loretta Sparks Wood. She married Raymond B. Page on September 9, 1941, in the Salt Lake Temple.
A beautiful lady who honored her heritage, loved her family, and served others. She loved to crochet, embroidery, and was an amazing cook. Her family had a long list of favorites, but especially enjoyed her rolls, banana bread, and cookies. Music was her joy and she shared her talents, especially her beautiful singing voice, with many. She also served faithfully as a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for 25 years. She embodied a strong faith in Christ and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings, including serving as an ordinance worker in the Bountiful Temple, with her husband.
She is survived by her daughters Sharlene Miller, Lorraine Evans (Jerry), Marilyn Cornia (Steve), and Patti Murphy (Michael), siblings Evelyn Nelson, Phyllis Long (Roland), Barbara Mackey (Tom), Donna Donahue, John H. Wood Jr. (Mary), Warren Wood, Douglas Wood (Patti), and Dwight Wood and 24 grandchildren, 45 +2 coming soon, great grandchildren and 3 great, great, grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, granddaughter, Lariann Brethauer, sister-in-law, Susan Wood, brothers-in-law, John Nelson, Lowell Jensen, and Rex Donahue.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at the LDS Chapel 3707 South 800 West, Bountiful, Utah with a viewing held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service.
