Marian Wheeler

December 11, 1938 — November 6, 2019

Marian B. Wheeler, Age 80 passed away peacefully with family at her side on Wednesday, November 6th 2019 at the South Davis Community Hospital Care Center. Marian was born to Mamie D. Brown and Ray D. Brown on December 11th 1938 in Ogden, Utah. She attended Ben Lomond High School in Ogden, Utah and later got her GED. Marian married Jim Wheeler on December, 30th 1955 at the age of 17. Next month they would have celebrated their 64th Wedding Anniversary. Marian was proceeded in death by her mother Mamie, her father Ray and Step-Father (Olie) and her Step-Father (Smitty) and her brother Ron Brown.  Marian is survived by her loving Husband Jim G. Wheeler, and her children Mike and Shelley Wheeler of Bountiful, Utah. Kent and Kathy Wheeler of Indiana. Dell and Kristine Wheeler of Draper, Utah. Michelle and Sam Pendleton of Fort Collins, Colorado. And Annette and Randy Smith of Farmington, Utah. Marian and Jim together have 22 Grandchildren and 46 Great-Grandchildren and one more on the way. Two Great-Great-Grandchildren and another on the way. Marian was a loving mother and grandmother to many others besides her own children and grandchildren. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held many callings in her ward including: Primary Teacher, Librarian (Marian the Librarian), She took the young women to girl’s camp for many years. She loved to share her certs breath mints with her Grandchildren and read books with them when they stayed over night and loved to rock the new born babies. Marian loved to make quilts for all of her Children and Grandchildren. She loved to sew and was willing to mend anything that needed mending at anytime day or night. Marian will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. A viewing will be held at the Russon Brothers Mortuary on Monday, November 11th from 6-8pm at 295 North Main Street in Bountiful, Utah. A secondary viewing will be held on Tuesday morning from 11:15-12:45pm with funeral services being held at 1:00pm at the LDS Stake Center at 990 North 100 West Bountiful, Utah.
