Marianne Roberts

October 27, 1951 — February 5, 2015

Bountiful – Our cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away February 5, 2015 after a valiant battle with brain cancer. She was born on October 27, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Shirley N. Peterson and LaRue P. Peterson Hugoe. She married the love of her life, Steven D. Roberts on April 10, 1970 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She held many church callings including Primary President and Relief Society President.
She loved quilting, crafting, traveling, games, service and time with her family.  She was a natural born leader and had an unconditional love for everyone.
She and her husband Steve served an amazing LDS mission to Paris, France which she absolutely loved.
She will be remembered as a very positive person and she stayed strong and positive until the very end.
She is survived by her husband, Steven D. Roberts; sons, Brady (Nikki) and Jonathan (Erin); daughter, Kristen (Ryan) Pack.  Also her nine grandchildren who meant the world to her.  She will be missed and loved always.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Jensen and Dr. Coleman and all of the staff at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital for their loving care.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 9th at 11 am at the Bountiful Stonecreek Ward, 1476 North 300 West in Bountiful.   A viewing will be held Sunday evening February 8th  from 6-8 pm at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 am at the church prior to the services.
