Marie Denise Anderson

Marie Denise Anderson, age 60, resident of Farmington, Utah, passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday night, August 14th, 2016.

She was born on February 17, 1956 at Camp Pendleton near Oceanside, CA.  She is survived by her mother, Mary Helen Flores, her sister, Yvonne Shuman, and her brothers, Mike and Greg Flores.  In addition, she is survived by her husband, Bob Anderson, her daughter and son-in-law Selena Roxanne and Neal Lamberson, her son and daughter-in-law, Erik Alexander and Adriel Anderson, and her five grandchildren, Kenadee Mumm, Finiti Jensen, Devin Jensen, Aston Anderson, and Aria Starr Lamberson.  She was a loving wife, devoted mother, doting Nana, and great companion who will be deeply missed by her many friends, and loved ones here in Utah, New Mexico, California, Texas, Maryland, and Minnesota.

Denise was a wonderful and supportive Air Force wife throughout her husband's career in such locations as McClellan AFB (Sacramento, CA), Kadena AB (Okinawa, Japan), Reese AFB (Lubbock, TX), and Hill AFB, (Clearfield, UT).  Denise had an outstanding 14 year career as Director of Sales and Marketing for several hotels in the Wasatch Valley.  She managed many hospitality contracts that included the cast and crew for the TV show "Touched By An Angel", and movies "Dumb and Dumber and "The Sandlot".  She retired in 2004 to spend more time with her family.  She loved her music, friends, and her adventures with her kids and grandkids.  She was a free spirit and a devoted San Francisco 49ers fanatic.

A memorial service will be held at 1400 (2:00 PM) Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Russon Brothers Mortuary (1941 North Main St., Farmington, Utah).
