Marie Henich Hatch, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend died on June 15, 2009 in Bountiful, Utah. Marie was born on March 5, 1916 in Tooele to Yugoslavian parents. She was the oldest of six children. When Marie was 8, the family moved to Clearfield where she lived until she met Charles Ezra Hatch of Woods Cross. Marie and Charlie were married on September 2, 1937 where they settled and raised their three children. Marie was an accomplished business woman and served her family and community throughout her life. Marie worked for 25 years at the Utah State Tax Commission which she loved. Marie was involved in civic and community groups and served as President of the Women in Business of Bountiful. Her fun sense of humor, strength, determination, love and passion for life was apparent in all of her endeavors as she helped family and others with her love and kindness. Marie loved people and she touched the lives of many with her encouragement and compassion. Marie will be sorely missed by those who knew her. Marie is survived by her daughter, Suzan Hatch Woodyatt Carlos and her two sons, Charles Paul Hatch of Farmington, James Henich Hatch also of Farmington; her only granddaughter Jennifer Stanton Hatch and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ezra Hatch, her parents and her 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 19, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bountiful City Cemetery located at 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful, Utah. A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful Utah and Friday morning 9:00 – 9:30 a.m. prior to services
