Marion (Monty) W. Loesch

December 12, 1927 — January 20, 2018

 

Marion Warden Loesch rounded third and slid into home and was greeted by her family and friends on January 20, 2018.  She was born December 12, 1927 to David Royal & Hazel Ramage Warden in Bluefield, West Virginia. Monty was a life long baseball fan and especially a fan of the Cubs.

Monty grew up in Bluefield West Virginia and graduated for Bluefield High School. She attended Jefferson School of Nursing in Roanoke Virginia following her graduation from high school. She worked as a Registered Nurse her entire career and was the Director of Nursing for Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful Utah at the time of her retirement.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully fulfilled many callings including serving a full-time mission in the Chile Antofagasta Mission. She also served as a temple worker in the Bountiful Utah Temple for many years. Monty had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and a love for her Heavenly Father.

Monty was preceded in death 62 years ago by the love of her life George F. Loesch Jr. her husband.

Monty is survived by her two sons, George F. (Skip) and Lori, residing in Payson Utah and David Warden and Stephanie residing in Fruit Heights, Utah. She is also survived by her dear brother Dr. David R Warden Jr. and Mary Lou of Fruit Heights. Monty is the proud Grandmother of 9 grand children and 13 great grand children.

A viewing will be held Friday, January 26th from 6 to 8 PM at Russon Mortuary, 1941 N. Main St., Farmington, Utah and again Saturday morning before the funeral from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Orchard Lane Chapel in Fruit Heights, Utah. The funeral service will begin Saturday, January 27th at 11:00 AM at the Orchard Lane Chapel located at 77 South Orchard Lane, Fruit Heights, Utah. Interment-Farmington City Cemetery.
