Marjean Steed

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Marjean Steed, 86, returned peacefully to her Heavenly Father on July 21, 2014. She was born in Montpelier, Idaho, Olive Amanda Johnston and William Alvaro Dunn. She was the youngest of seven children. She married Lowell Steed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple August 21, 1946 and they spent 68 wonderful years together. She loved the Lord and served faithfully in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She treasured the 16 years she served with her sweetheart in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a school secretary for 26 years and touched many lives. Her greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Lowell; children: Richard (Terri), Wayne, Jeri (Paul) Anderson, and Joan (Boyd) Millet; 12 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, siblings and a great-grandson, Kysen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Centerville 19th Ward, 900 South 400 East. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and Saturday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Centerville City Cemetery.
