Marjean Day Toone

Marjean finished her earthly existence just prior to her 95th birthday. Bountiful was her home all those years.
Her parents, Leonard and Vera Day, among other loved ones, welcomed her home. Jury and Marjean have been sealed for 75 amazing years. Together they are blessed with 4 children: Kent (Susan) Toone, Susan (Jim) Tadje, Marianne (Joel) Dayton, and David (Cheryl) Toone; 31 grandchildren and 67 great-grandchildren.  Marjean is also survived by her sister Janice Freckleton.
To say Marjean and Jury love to dance is a significant understatement. They traveled the world, completed 3 missions and served 33 years together as temple workers.
Marjean is a great cook. Eating out was rare, but if they did go out to eat, they drove to Mueller Park to roast a hot dog. . . . Marjean’s favorite.
If you knew her, you possess a priceless gift, cherish it!
Stenciled on their dining room wall is “People are more important than things” and she lives it.
Heaven is a livelier place now that Marjean has arrived.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the Bountiful Oak Hills Ward Chapel, 455 South 1200 East, Bountiful. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and Thursday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
