Mark Farr

Biography

Mark Wendell Farr sadly passed on June 16, 2014 at his home in Layton, Utah. Mark is preceded in death by his father, Wendell Alvin Farr. Mark was born on May 22, 1963 to Wendell Alvin Farr and Andrea Bell Farr (Heaps). Mark married Sally Wyatt and later divorced. Of this union Mark was blessed with two children: Justin Mark Farr and Amber Drea Farr. In 2005, Mark married Linda Pharris and took residence in Layton, Utah. Mark added to his family, four more children: Karissa Brown, Kayla Humphries, Wade Olson & Sonya Olson. Throughout the years, Mark was blessed with six grandchildren: Brooklynn, Tegan, Hadley, Takoda, Tavory and Olivia.
Mark’s young spirit was drawn to the countryside, especially East Canyon where he spent much of his free time with his wife and their dogs, camping and boating.
Mark was a truck driver of 31 years, giving him the opportunity to travel throughout the U.S. His most recent employer was North Park Transportation.
Mark is survived by his wife, Linda Farr; their six children and six grandchildren. Also his mother, Andrea (Arnell) Heaps; his siblings: Shaun (Kristi) Farr and their six children; and Jason (Trenna) Farr and their five children.
Mark’s passionate and loving spirit will be remembered by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 23, 2014 at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held Sunday evening 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Monday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
