Mark Lyndon Lawrence

October 27, 1964 — October 10, 2021

Our wonderful brother, Mark Lyndon Lawrence unexpectedly passed away on Sunday 10th October 2021 from a heart attack. He was 56 years old.

He was born in London, England at the home of his parents, Mavis and Benjamin Lawrence on 27th October 1964. As young boy he had a sweet temperament, was always making people laugh and was attentive to the needs of his family. He loved to draw, ride his bike, and play with neighbourhood friends. In 1976, the family emigrated to Westchester County, New York, where Mark continued his schooling before joining the US army in the spring of 1983, aged 18. He served for a total of 6 years.

After finishing his service, Mark worked a variety of jobs before enrolling in college to pursue his love of architecture. He was a true warrior in life and his degree was not something that came easy. He completed a BA in fine art in March 2018 and achieved his master’s in architecture in May 2021.

Mark is survived by his siblings Una (Rodney), Ian (Monica), Trevor, Junior, Jacqui (Horace), Errol and Carol (Jerry). He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Pauline.

Until we meet again – Mark you will be greatly missed!
